Our Story

Hi — we're Christy and Doug, the husband-and-wife team behind Magnetic Moments Studio.

Like most families, we had thousands of photos we loved… and almost none we actually looked at. The best moments of our lives—weddings, road trips, birthdays, and kids being gloriously ridiculous—were buried in our camera rolls, rediscovered only by accident.

But the real reason we started Magnetic Moments Studio was simple: we wanted a new adventure together.

After years of raising our family, this chapter is one we get to create side by side. It turns out that helping people preserve their favorite memories is a pretty wonderful way to spend your own.

Today, we create custom keepsake magnets from the photos that matter most. Every magnet is printed and handcrafted with care, one at a time. At many of our events, you can even watch your favorite photo become a keepsake in just minutes.

We're based in Spring Lake, Michigan, where we share life with our four grown children and two Goldendoodles, who proudly serve as our unofficial quality control team.

Whether you meet us at a West Michigan wedding, market, festival, or order online from home, our goal is always the same: to help you turn life's favorite moments into keepsakes you'll enjoy every day.

Official Giveaway Rules ▾

Sponsor: Magnetic Moments Studio, West Michigan.

Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the U.S., 18 or older, with a wedding or event date to be held within our service area (West Michigan; travel beyond 30 miles is available — ask us). The event date must fall on or before February 28, 2028 (within 18 months of the drawing) and is subject to our availability. No purchase necessary to enter or win.

How to enter: Complete this entry form during the entry period — that is the only requirement. Following us on Instagram and Facebook, liking or sharing the giveaway post, and tagging your partner or a friend are encouraged but optional, and do not affect your chance of winning. One entry per couple. The entry period runs from 12:00 AM ET on August 1, 2026 through 11:59 PM ET on August 15, 2026. Entries received outside that window are not eligible.

Prize: One (1) Silver “Live Magnet Experience” package (approx. retail value $1,350): up to 4 hours on-site, service for up to 125 guests, custom design, on-site attendant, and real-time printing. Prize is non-transferable and has no cash value. Travel beyond 30 miles, dates outside availability, and add-ons are not included.

Winner selection: One winner chosen at random from all valid entries on Monday, August 17, 2026, and notified by email and Instagram DM. Winner must respond within 5 days or an alternate may be selected.

Odds: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Consent: By entering, the winner agrees to Magnetic Moments Studio photographing and sharing their magnet experience for marketing.

Privacy: We collect your name, email, phone, and event details solely to administer this giveaway and to respond to you about our services. We do not sell or share your information with third parties. If you’d like us to remove your details after the drawing, email hello@magneticmomentsstudio.com and we will.
