Terms of Service

These terms apply when you shop at magneticmomentsstudio.com or book us for an event. Magnetic Moments Studio is a small business run by Christy & Doug in Spring Lake, Michigan ("we," "us"). By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Custom orders

Every magnet is made to order from the photos you upload. Please check your size, pack, and photos before you check out. Each pack needs one photo per magnet. Because each order is custom, we can't accept returns for a change of mind. See our Refund Policy for what we do if something isn't right.

2. Your photos

  • When you upload a photo, you confirm that you took it or have permission to use it, and that printing it doesn't violate anyone else's rights (including copyright, trademark, or privacy).
  • You keep all rights to your photos. You give us permission to use them only to make and ship your order (and to share it on social media only if you opt in).
  • We may decline or cancel any order with images we consider inappropriate, offensive, illegal, or infringing. If we cancel, we'll refund you in full.
  • We check every photo before printing. If one won't print well, we'll contact you and ask for a different one.

3. Pricing and payment

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change from time to time. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout. If we make a pricing mistake, we'll contact you before your order ships and give you the choice to continue or cancel for a full refund.

4. Shipping

We ship within the United States only. Orders are made within 48 hours. Standard USPS shipping is $5 and Express is $15; costs are shown at checkout. Delivery dates are estimates; once a package is with the carrier, delivery timing is outside our control. See our Shipping Policy for details.

5. Events

Live event bookings are confirmed in writing (by email). A $500 deposit reserves a wedding date and a $200 deposit reserves a celebration or party date. Your deposit goes toward your total, and the balance is due the day of your event. Deposit terms are shown when you pay your deposit, and other details are in your booking confirmation.

6. Limitation of liability

We stand behind our work. If something goes wrong, our responsibility is limited to remaking your order or refunding what you paid for it. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Colors may look slightly different in print than on your screen.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on our site when you order is the one that applies.
